In a typical home that is tens of euros a year. Rule of thumb: <strong>old lamp watts \u00d7 10 \u2248 lumens<\/strong>. See <a href=\"https:\/\/ledekspert.eu\/en\/teadmiskeskus\/lumens-and-watts\/\">lumens and watts<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bases: finding the right replacement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ledekspert.eu\/pood\/sisevalgustid\/laevalgustid\/suvistatavad-laevalgustid\/regular-round\/laevalgusti-gu10-11\/\">Ceiling light GU10<\/a> \u2014 the most common spotlight base (230 V), a direct swap.<\/li><li>E27 and E14 \u2014 standard household bases, also a direct swap.<\/li><li>GU5.3 \/ MR16 \u2014 low-voltage 12 V: check the transformer, it may not work with a small LED load.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Colour temperature and colour rendering<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Halogen gave warm light around 2700 K with excellent colour rendering. To keep that feel after switching, choose LED at <strong>2700\u20133000 K<\/strong> with <strong>CRI 90+<\/strong>. Halogen only wins on purchase price and loses on running cost and lifespan within the first year.
