Elektri Ekspert OÜ (hereinafter “us” or “we”) undertake to maintain and respect your privacy. This policy (together with our Terms of Use and any other documents referred to) forms the basis for processing the information that we receive from you or that you provide to us. We ask you to read the following carefully so that you understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we process it.
The executor of the objectives of the Personal Data Protection Act of the Republic of Estonia is Elektri Ekspert OÜ, Karjavälja tn. 10, 12915, Tallinn, registry code 10843047. Our representative Janek Pärt is responsible for implementing this policy.

INFORMATION WE MAY ASK FROM YOU

We may process the following information about you:

  • general information (first name, last name, date of birth, delivery address, telephone number, e-mail address) that is provided when filling in forms, ordering goods or services, signing up on the www.ledekspert.eu website and is necessary for us to exercise our rights and obligations;
  • the data (purchased goods, previous orders, payment details, contact details, and other related records) that is required from registered users of the website www.ledekspert.eu;
  • data on the use of the website collected using cookies and similar technologies that is related to internet usage;
  • we or a representative of our couriers may ask you to present identification (passport, ID card, new type of driver’s licence) to identify the buyer or the recipient authorised by the buyer before handing over the goods;
  • other data collected based on your consent and described in detail at the time you are asked for consent.

IP ADDRESSES AND COOKIES

We may collect information about your computer, including, where such information is available, the IP address, operating system and browser type, for the purposes of administration of the system and providing aggregate information to our advertisers and business partners. This is statistical information about our users’ online activities and patterns, not personally identifiable information.

WHERE AND HOW LONG WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

On the date specified, the personal data will be destroyed automatically or by the persons responsible.

DATA MANAGEMENT PROCESS AND PROCEDURES

We use your personal data for the following purposes.

1. For e-commerce purposes:

  • to ensure that the content on our website is presented to you and reaches your computer in the most efficient way;
  • to fulfil our obligations under the agreements concluded between us;
  • to allow you to use our interactive services if you wish;
  • if we want to notify you of changes to our services;
  • to identify the buyer;
  • to deliver the goods to the address you have specified.

3. Other purposes described in the consent forms presented to you for your approval (promotional campaigns, games, lotteries, competitions, advertising products purchased by other buyers):

  • we may use your personal data or disclose your data to other recipients with your consent to provide you with information on goods and services that may be of interest to you and we or other recipients of the data may contact you by e-mail or telephone;
  • if you consent to your data being transferred to other recipients, we (or they) will only contact you by e-mail once we have received your consent;
  • if you do not want us to use your data or transfer your data to other recipients for marketing purposes, please tick the appropriate box on the form asking you to provide your details.

We will not provide identifiable information to our advertisers, but we may provide them with aggregated information about our consumers (for example, we may inform them that 500 men under the age of 30 clicked on their ad on a particular day). In addition, we can also use general information to help advertisers reach their target audiences (e.g., women). We may also use the personal data we receive from you to fulfil our advertisers’ requests to display their advertisements to the target audience.

TRANSFER OF YOUR DATA

We may disclose your personal information to any member of our group (our subsidiaries, parent company, and its subsidiaries) in the cases and according to the procedures set out in the laws of the Republic of Estonia and other legislation as follows:

  • personal data shall be transferred to recipients of personal data who are located in the Member States and in other countries of the European Economic Area (EEA) under the same conditions, for the same purposes, and in accordance with the same procedures as to recipients of personal data who are located in the Republic of Estonia;
  • non-personal data (statistics, analysis of results) that we collect from you may be transferred to and stored at a location outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Personal data may be transferred to recipients located outside the European Economic Area (EEA) in the following cases:

  • where authorisation has been obtained from the Data Protection Authority to transfer data to third countries;
  • if the data subject’s consent has been obtained in advance;
  • where the transfer of personal data is necessary for entering into, or the performance of, a contract in the interest of the person processing the data and a third-party data subject;
  • the personal data needs to be exchanged for the performance of a contract between the person processing the data and the data subject or in order to implement measures taken at the request of the data subject prior to the conclusion of the contract;
  • the transfer of personal data is necessary (or required by law) to serve an important public interest or it is necessary for a court case.

In addition, personal data may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who are employed by us or one of our suppliers. We will take all measures reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is processed and stored in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may disclose your personal information to third parties in the following circumstances:

  • if we sell or buy any business or assets, we may disclose your personal information to a prospective seller or buyer of such business;
  • if Elektri Ekspert OĂś or all of its assets are purchased by a third party, the personal data of the company’s customers will be transferred as part of the ownership;
  • where we are obliged to disclose or share your personal information in order to comply with our legal obligations or to enforce our Terms of Use or to comply with the terms and conditions of supply and other agreements or to protect Elektri Ekspert OĂś, our customers, or other rights, property, or safety. This includes sharing information with other businesses and organisations to protect ourselves against fraud and reduce the risk of customer insolvency.
